Picture plate "Der arme Poet" 1st half of the 20th century, mould mark with Meissen lettering, addition Made in Germany and embossed numbers, inscribed in graphite "C. Spitzweg/Der arme Poet/Cop. E. Wenzel/Handgemalt", horizontal tile with fine polychrome overglaze painting, depicting a man in a poor attic room surrounded by numerous books, after the famous motif by Carl Spitzweg (1808-1885), monogrammed EW lower right, in profiled silver moulding, good condition, dimensions of the tile approx. 12 x 15 cm, dimensions of the frame 19 x 22 cm.
