Copenhagen "Lying Polar Bear" Designed by Knud Kyhn in 1914 for Bing & Gröndahl, monogrammed, underglaze blue and green stamp mark 1915-1947, impressed number C99, incised monogram B.J., brushed model number 1857 and painter's mark RII, naturalistic moulding with subtle underglaze painting, dynamic depiction of a polar bear with open mouth standing up, good condition for its age, h 21 cm.
