Fine cabinet in the Renaissance style 18th/19th cent, two-part body veneered in walnut, maple and mahogany, partially ebonised, representative furniture from aristocratic property, the front extremely richly decorated, engraved with inlays in tortoiseshell and bone, all drawers decorated with various hunting motifs, door flanked by two full columns in the centre with an inset Renaissance portrait of a lady, in oil on metal panel, above finely engraved coat of arms of Brandenburg/Prussia, the interior with four further drawers, worked in the same manner, decorated with depictions of animals and hunting motifs, the feet in the form of cast brass eagle claws, on blackened wooden ball, the lower part decorated with mythological scenes, also in tortoiseshell and bone, engraved, supported by ebonised spiral columns, old restoration, the top with minor veneer defects, slightly rest.signs of age and wear, dimensions 217 x 130 x 50 cm.
