Men's watch Omega Constellation Electronic Chronometer F 300 Hz, Switzerland, circa 1970, rectangular stainless steel case, blue dial with centre seconds and date, in working order, on original steel bracelet with folding clasp, Z 2, 35 x 40 mm. Info: 20 Swiss watch companies worked together in 1969 to develop the Beta 21 movement. This new type of movement was called "electronic", it was the Swiss watchmakers' answer to the first commercial Japanese quartz watch, the Seiko quartz Astron.
