Baroque period clock South German, circa 1750, four-sided glazed walnut case, the front decorated with finely chased sheet brass, in the centre the all-seeing eye of God surrounded by rocailles and C motifs, sheet iron chapter ring with etched Roman numerals, central cut-out for mock pendulum, brass plate movement with three windings, striking mechanism completely removed, going train with verge escapement running, h 50 cm.
