Icon of St George the Dragon Slayer 19th cent, inscribed in Church Slavonic, tempera on a double-blocked hardwood panel, one reverse ponki missing, elaborately chased brass oklad, depicting St George on horseback, killing the dragon with his lance, behind him a seated boy, whom he freed from the captivity of a Bulgarian nobleman and brought back to his parents according to the miracle on the young Paphlagonian, traces of age, somewhat in need of restoration, dimensions 26 x 31 cm.
