Exceptional 230 PLM 2620 Ten Wheel live steam locomotive. Handcrafted between 1920 and 1925. Locomotive type 230 PLM - Gauge - 150 mm Overall length - 120 cm or Locomotive 80 cm Tender 44 cm weight: approx. 50 kg one original track for presentation Very good original condition History of this exceptional object This locomotive, which is a reproduction of a model produced between 1905 and 1909, required 5 years of patience and great engineering talent on the part of this foreman. Born in 1895, he began this work in 1920, at the age of 25, and completed it in 1925, at the age of 30. In 5 years, he created a veritable objet d'art, for which he was for which he was recognized as the best craftsman in France. Such perfection, whether in mechanical engineering, machining quality or faithful reproduction, is that of a masterpiece. This talented amateur has left us a few documents, including two photos and a letter written in 1963 in which he expresses his desire to part with his locomotive. In it, he describes the history of his work over the years and the many exhibitions in which his Ten Wheel locomotive has taken part. These documents will be given to the future buyer.
