Silver and vermeil diptych. Moscow, late 19th century. Engraved on the front with the Cross with spear and sponge and on the back with the prayer "Пресвятая Богородица спаси насъ" (Most Holy Mother of God save us). Inside on the left flap, the Virgin of Kazan and on the right flap, Saint Nicholas, both icons with an engraved silver and vermeil oklad in a vermeil frame. Hallmarks: 84, Moscow circa 1896 and silversmith "ИС" (Ivan Dmitrievitch Saltykov). 6.6 x 8.8 cm (open); weight: 54 g
