Meissen. Ca. 1735. Porcelain, enriched in colours, painted in gold. The small ècuelle with two handles and lid, in addition round présentoire. All pieces with foliage cartouches and inside various chinoiseries. The ensembles feautre different scenes from the supposed everyday life of East Asian cultures as they were imagined in 18th century Europe - eating and tea scenes and the presentation of sacrifices in bowls are combines with mythical animals and colourful plants. Inbetween the cartouches each one strand of 'Indian' flowers. Height in total 12cm. Swords mark, painted blue under glaze. Porcelain former's mark with arrow and circle.
