Frankreich. 1st half 19th c. Presumably after a model by André-Antoine Raviro. Bronze, fire-gilded. On an oval base young bacchante with moving antique garment in a dancer-like movement. Balancing a rod on her right shoulder and attached to this the drum-formed clock case with bells and cymbals. Enamel dial with Roman numerals. 14-day-pendulum movment with thread suspension, half-hour chime on bell. 39x23x11cm. Enamelled dial chipped at the winding holes. Enclosed: P/S.
