Paris, evening of the 26th (Between 1832 and 1839). To Mr de LAPORTE. 1page in-4°: "Everything seemed to announce that there would still be a ballot tomorrow, which would have led up to three o'clock; and I would have had plenty of time for the audience before the hour of the Séance. But everything was finished this evening, and the King sent word that he would receive the Bureau at noon... so it will be impossible for me to attend tomorrow's Court hearing, and as no Advocate General is ready, it will absolutely have to be postponed until next Saturday, May 4, a day on which nothing will prevent me from going to the Palais...".
