He is a Gentilhomme ordinaire de la Chambre du Roi, Capitaine d'Infanterie au Régiment de Picardie - signed "Jehan de Selve Cromières." in his name and titles, "both in his own name and as having the natural custody of his children and of the late Damoiselle Jacqueline BOUCHAUT, formerly his wife".
