Patcharapol Tangruen (aka Alex Face) is a well-known and influential Thai graffiti artist. Alex studied architecture at the King Mongktut Institute of Technology in Bangkok and graduated from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts. His interest in architecture led Alex Face to explore and roam the streets and alleys of Bangkok in search of abandoned buildings, places he ended up using as a canvas to develop his street art. Using Alex Face as an alter ego, the artist tries to create a bond with the urban population, the underprivileged of Bangkok and the surrounding provinces. His iconic character depicts the adventures of a disillusioned boy disguised as a baby rabbit who seems wiser than his age, at first glance he looks cute, but all the while he worries about the future of our world.
