Description
Jambiyya dagger, Arabian Peninsula, probably Yemen, 20th century Double-edged bent blade with central rib. Curved frame trimmed with silver-plated plates engraved with geometric friezes and floral motifs, and punctuated with two discs and a copper ring with pearl decoration. Wooden scabbard applied with silver-plated metal, decorated with pearls, filigree and friezes of diamond-shaped plates punctuated with links from the leather sheathing the reverse.
