Camille Le Mercier d'Erm (1888-1978), poet, historian, Breton nationalist. Set of 5 L.A.S., ca. 1928, 8p in-4 and 2p in-12. Nice friendly set to Madame Régina Hervé. The 3 L.A.S. on in-4 sheets (2, 2 and 4p) are long, friendly letters in which he talks about his travels in Brittany or a favor he asks her to do for his publisher. The other 2 L.A.S. are on postcards, one a signed thought, the other a souvenir from Brocéliande on which he copies a piece of Robert de Baron's story. Attached: a signed CPA, two autograph poems signed "Ballade pour un album royal" (dedicated to R Hervé) and an untitled poem addressed to "M'Amie", i.e. Régina Hervé (this is how he addresses her in letters). Attached are 7 signed typescript poems (with a few rare corrections), 16p in-4 and 1p in-8: Chanter et vivre, C'était un poète Breton, Pour les pipeaux, Dans la lumière du soir, Le crépuscule des chouans, Des ailes, La Bretagne et la neige.
