Regule mantel set including a clock decorated with an allegory of butterfly hunting and a pair of covered cassolettes, the handles decorated with putti masks and a double spray of laurels. Signed GO. Maxim for Georges Maxim (1885-1940). Pink and black marble base. 31.5 x 46.5 x 18 cm and 28 x 13.5 x 12.5 cm. (Accents and restorations on the rear marble plate).
