ESCUELA HOLANDESA, PRINCIPIOS DEL SIGLO XIX
HOLY FAMILY WITH SAINT JOHN AND AN ANGEL. Oil on canvas Depicts the Holy Family accompanied by St. John the Baptist and an angel offering a basket of fruit to the Virgin. It follows models of Dutch painting of the 16th century. Framed in wood worked in gilt. Small lack of paint. On the back there are restorations in the lower left quarter that correspond to the interventions that appear in the study with ultraviolet light, not appreciating any more in the rest of the canvas. Framed. 112 x 152 cm.
