Over a light brown engobe with green and white slip painting of ascending tearing hearts. Incised mark Max Laeuger Kandern underneath the base, below it "Gesetzl. Geschtzt.", inscribed "Gesetzl. Geschtzt." on the side, model no. 57 (marks on the stand ring and on the rim). H. 23 cm.

Laeuger, Max 1864 Lörrach - 1952 ibid. 'Centerpiece on four legs'. Two pieces. Brown body. On a stand ring, four cylindrically flared feet, disc-shaped connection. Green lustrous glaze. With a bowl on top: Deep hollowed, green-beige base. Outer wall: Circumferential tulip decoration over brown engobe in dark brown green and beige slip painting. Max Laeuger, Kandern, inscribed below the base, with the "Gesetzl.Geschtzt.", pattern "Gesetzl.Geschtzt.", model no. 234 and 4. H. overall: 28 cm. ø 36 cm. Elisabeth Kessler-Slotta, p. 272.
