Johann Anton Tischbein (1720 Haina - Hamburg 1784), Adam and Eve in Paradise. Pen and brown ink, gray wash, on laid paper, mounted on cardboard. 19.3 x 29.7 cm (sheet size). Signed lower right outside the image. With a border in brown pen. A delicate crease in the lower right corner. The mounting strips on the verso faintly visible recto. In good condition. With a written expert opinion by Prof. Dr. Erich Herzog, Kassel, dated 23.2.9(?) (copy). Provenance: Private ownership, Hesse. Taxation: differential taxation (VAT: Margin Scheme).
