Heinrich Friedrich Laurin (1756 - Dresden - 1830), Farmsteads at the edge of the forest. Pen-and-ink drawing in black, gray wash, on laid paper with watermark "Crowned initials CP with laurel wreath in the round". (Circa 1830). 20.5 x 32 cm. In collector's mount. - One tiny brown stain. Paper slightly thinned in one place verso. In very good condition. Provenance: Heinrich Wilhelm Campe (1770-1862), Leipzig, lower left with the dry stamp (Lugt 1391); Heinrich Brockhaus Collection (1804-1874), Leipzig, since then in family possession.
