In the southern, classical-looking landscape with antique buildings in the background, the artist evokes the ideal landscapes of Joseph Anton Koch or Johann Christian Reinhart; the middle ground on the left and right, on the other hand, shows a Nordic understanding of landscape. - With a vertical fold and slight creases in places, otherwise in good condition.
