EGYPT, COPTIC PERIOD Wool and linen dalmatic decorated with a star pattern of concentric circles (consolidations). Egypt, Coptic period. Egypt, Coptian period, wool and linen dalmatic element, (consolidations). H 42 x L 88 cm - H 16 1/2 x W 34 5/8 in. A very similar decoration is preserved in the Musée du Louvre under number Af 6013 and dated 310/420 AD.
