Depicted with a serene expression, one hand raised in abhaya mudra, the stout body adorned with beaded jewelry and carved with a rounded face detailed with heavy-lidded eyes, full lips, and loose hair ending in curls, all backed by a flaring nimbus to the back. Provenance: A private collection in Slovenia. Condition: Good condition, commensurate with age. Extensive wear, losses, nicks, scratches, encrustations, and signs of weathering and erosion. The life-size head finely sculpted, his narrow face with large eyes gazing downwards, full lips below a wavy mustache, beard, and thick tufts of hair stopping just above his forehead. Provenance: Private collection in north London, acquired in the early 1990s. Condition: Presenting well, with wear, erosion, small nicks, and structural cracks. The head split in two at one time with associate repairs. Weight: 16.3 kg (incl. stand) Dimensions: 37.4 cm (incl. stand), 31 cm (excl. stand) Mounted on a stand.
