Japanese Katana sword. Mounted Koshiare. Blade: imori mune, nagako kiri, good remnants of hamon gunome, o kissaki. Habaki plated with silver leaf with radiating pattern. Nagasa: 70 cm. Mounting: tsuka incomplete. Tsuba Shin no maru gata in blackened iron, fuchi in blackened iron. Wooden saya inlaid with what appears to be a finely chased metal Mount Hijiri. Comes with black lacquered light wood scabbard (saya) and protective cloth sheath. The engravings on the habaki represent, on one side, a kabuto and on the other a rōnin (masterless warrior), alluding to honor and the duality between peace and war. FUDOSHIN SHARPENED KATANA Wood, Steel and Brass One piece Katana (Full Tang). Reproduction of the original Japanese used by the samurai. It consists of a sharpened Maru blade with brass habaki for attachment to the hilt. With its corresponding scabbard (saya) of varnished natural wood, decorated with dark brown sageo identical to the braiding of the handle, providing contrast.
