BOUCHERON. A ceremonial cane with ebony shaft, the milord pommel in 18k (750 thousandths) yellow gold embossed with foliage in the rocaille style, engraved with the AOF monogram on one side and the African continent on the other. It is topped by a coat of arms surrounded by two phylacteries engraved "ZARMAN DAULAR USMANIYYA - IMPERIAL HIGHNESS GARSAN FULANIN". The ferrule also in 18k yellow gold. Signed and numbered. Height : 98 cm 98 cm - Gross weight: 480 g (minor knocks, missing nail cover) This cane belonged to Antonio Deinde Fernandez, diplomat and businessman from Niger, permanent representative of the Central African Republic to the United Nations.
