Brass lantern alarm clock movement, partially engraved and openworked with plant motifs and a mask. Hours in Roman numerals, read by a single hand. Dial signed Thuillier in Paris. Wire suspension. Early 18th century. Height 25.5 - Dial diameter 11.1 cm (weight probably replaced) Probably made by Jean-Pierre Thuillier, master watchmaker and merchant in Paris and father of Jean-Antoine Thuillier, who lived in Geneva.
