Attractive edition, illustrated with 97 original lithographs by Luc-Albert Moreau, including a portrait of Colette. One of the artist's most beautiful illustrated books. Edition of 120 copies plus 15 hors commerce, this one of 60 on japon impérial containing a suite on japon blanc à la forme. Enriched with 3 lithographed proofs printed at 30 copies and signed by the artist (the proofs are numbered n°9/30) and 4 handwritten letters signed by the artist to the publisher about the book's illustration. Bound by Marot-Rodde, whose radiant decoration harmonizes well with Colette's book. Hinges a little marked at the stitches.
