Oeuvres poétiques. Lyon, Antoine de Harsy, 1574 [Paris, Guillaume de Luyne, 1656]. In-12, red morocco, triple gilt fillet, central coat of arms, ornate spine, interior lace, gilt edges (E. Niédrée 1845). A rare counterfeit, printed in round type, of the 1574 Lyon edition (Tchemerzine, V, p. 609). Unbound copy, containing the free passages that have not been replaced on pp. 74-78. A fine copy bearing the arms of the Marquis de Coislin (1805-1873), peer of France. Early handwritten note on a flyleaf concerning the author

In-16, 367 pp, yellowed paper, wet, brown calf, gilt thread on covers, spandrels with foliage at corners, medallion in center surmounted by the inscription MAURIAC, smooth spine decorated, small lack, binding rubbed. The medallion represents the crucifixion, above the inscription Mauriac. Probably a present book from the Jesuit college in Mauriac (Cantal), founded in 1563. Unknown at OHR.
