Pair of sculptures: Spain or Italy, XX century. Blued bronze. One piece has a marble base. Measurements: 19,5 x 10 x 10 cm; 15,5 x 19,5 x 9,5 cm. Pair of sculptures made in bronze. One of them represents the naked body of a woman captured from a completely expressionist language in which the detail is blurred in favor of the rotundity of the forms. The other sculpture is a bust of Dante Alighieri, Italian writer and philosopher. Known for his work the Divine Comedy, originally called Comedìa and later christened Divina by Giovanni Boccaccio, considered one of the most important poems of the Middle Ages and the greatest literary work in the Italian language. Dante is known for establishing the use of the vernacular language in literature at a time when it was the most important literary work in the Middle Ages.
