Ceiling lamp; LION HUGUE, France, early twentieth century. Frosted molded glass and gilded brass. It has slight restoration. Measurements: 88 x 67.5 x 67.5 cm. Lamp with brass structure and lights with glass shades. The piece is inspired by natural forms, such as the sinuous curves of plants and flowers. Its design is characterized by a sense of dynamism and movement, often given by the use of curved lines. Léon Hugue was a manufacturer of art deco lamps in Paris during the Art Deco period. He often used shades made by Degué for his lamps.
