POLA NEGRI (1897-1987)
Polish actress Pola Negri (circa 1927/1929) with her dog at Château du Rueil
in Séraincourt.Barbara Apolonia Chałupiec, star of Polish silent films and later of Hollywood,
took the pseudonym Pola Negri in homage to the Italian poet Ada Negri.
Between 1927 and 1929, she lived in the Château du Reuil, where our photographer must have immortalized her.
A set of two photographs, with the lower corners slightly missing.
