FEURSTEIN Joseph, Master in 1767 (Attributed to). SUPERB TRANSITION SALON TABLE curved on the front and sides in rosewood veneer, amaranth entirely inlaid on a holly background with scenes of Chinese characters on all 4 sides. Each scene is different and represents an elegant animated scene. The top is adorned with a basket of flowers framed by interlacing motifs. It opens with 3 crossbarless drawers framed by slightly ribbed uprights and rests on legs highlighted with wide inlaid fillets and ovals. Stamped FEURSTEIN and the Jurande mark on the back crosspiece. 18th c. W.42 D.30 H.70.
