Trace of exhibition label under the base, probably BEUGNET. Listed in the artist's catalog raisonné, reference A120, page 254. Our bronze is a BARYE workshop cast, according to the editors of the catalog raisonné, and the period cast run is estimated at less than 15 copies, with a posthumous "Brame" edition only of the same order.
