EXCEPTIONAL LOUIS XIV JASMIN COMMODE in Mazarine form with curved front and wooden top. It is veneered with fruitwood, ebony, native woods and bone marquetry. It opens with 3 drawers in 3 rows framed by bracketed uprights. Each drawer features a double jasmine flower motif framed by foliage and flowers. The central part is decorated in the same way, with beautiful lock escutcheons. The console jambs are highlighted with bronzes and end in sabot feet. The lingotière top is finely decorated in a central medallion with a vase of flowers on which rests 2 birds. The spandrels are decorated with hearts, bouquets of jasmine flowers and inlaid flowers.
