Fox tail necklace with two spacers and rose gold hanging eye, with a large medallion set with braiding and rings and ten rose cut diamonds, of which 1 x 4.16 x 4.37 mm, 1 x 3.74 x 2.82 mm and 1 x 2.95 x 3.45 mm. In reasonably good condition, considering its age, with dents in the lid and kinks in the necklace. Hallmarks: maker's mark: SV: possibly Simon Verhoeve, Medallion tests as 98.4% gold and necklace as 79.5% gold. Alkmaar, 1830-1871. L necklace: 49.5 cm, LxW medallion: 5.9 x 3.3 cm.
