Very important collection of nearly 3,000 advertising and decorative CHROMOLITHOGRAPHIES pasted onto album pages of the period: - Album de Chromo-Lithographies enfantines. In-folio, 387 x 287 : (45 ff.). Dark green half-chagrin with corners, green percaline boards, title and gilt and polychrome iron on first board, smooth spine decorated with special gilt iron (period binding). This album contains nearly 700 chromolithographs, more than twenty of which are dedicated to the 1878 and 1889 Universal Exhibitions. Among the companies that published these cards are: Aux fabriques de France, La Belle jardinière, Chocolat Muxi in Lyon, Le Bon marché, Lainé teinturier du mobilier de l'État, Le Printemps, etc. Some wear to binding. - Collection album. In-4 oblong, 243 x 320 : (60 ff.), publisher's decorated red Percaline. Contains over 600 subjects published by Chocolat Devinck, Perles du Japon, Biscuits Pernot de Dijon, Chapellerie du Nord & de l'Est, Galerie Lamartine in Paris, Chocolat Duroyon & Ramette in Cambrai, Aux deux saules (deuil), etc. First leaf unbound. A few rare tears. - Album in-folio, 394 x 310 : (60 ff.). Modern grile cloth. Very fine album beginning with a large chromolithograph for Montgolfier, and featuring more than 850 subjects on various themes such as horses, dogs, travel, hunting, nests, flowers, etc. Modern binding. Restorations to a few leaves. - Album. In-4, 310 x 235 : (105 ff.). Gray percaline, cold-stamped fillets framing the boards, the title Album à froid on the first board, smooth spine (publisher's binding). Album designed by a certain Jeanne Dupuy, who inscribed her name on the first flyleaf in a cut-out page from the Petit Journal des enfants. Each left-hand page features a pasted-in sheet from this magazine, opposite the chromolithographs. There are over 750 subjects, some published by Debauve & Gallais, Chicorée cambrésienne, Magasins lyonnais, Chicorée indigène bleu argent de Cambrai, Chocolat du Para, Hôtel de la poste & du soleil d'or à Saint-Seine-l'Abbaye, Chocolat Guérin-Boutron, etc. Binding damaged at covers and corners. Inner hinges cracked.
