The interior is entirely lined with purplish velvet, with the harquebusier's lid marked in gold. It contains a pair of percussion dueling pistols. The rifled, fluted barrels are bronzed and signed on the upper sides "Fni P Fauré Le Page à Paris". Finely chased locks decorated with foliage and scrolls. Finger rest bridges. Walnut crossbars fully carved with foliage scrolls. And accessories: red copper powder flask with brass measuring spout signed "Lepage à Paris", rosewood-handled screwdriver for dismantling chimneys, mallet, screwdriver for dismantling chimneys, bullet mould, cleaning and tamping rods.
