Curved, flat-backed blade, marked "Manufre Rle du Klingenthal Septembre 1814", with counter-edge, hollow sides and gutters, engraved in thirds on one side: "Garde du Corps du Roi", fleurs-de-lis and military attributes; on the other side: a sun, "Armes de France" and hallmarks on the heel.
