Albert HAFFNER (1846-1930) after Jean-Baptiste PERRONNEAU (1715-1783) PORTRAIT OF MAURICE-QUENTIN DE LA TOUR EN SURTOUT NOIR The original portrait of the King's painter, painted in 1750, was exhibited at the Salon of 1751 and is now kept at the Musée des Beaux-Arts Antoine Lécuyer in Saint-Quentin. Oil on canvas in a gilded stucco and wood frame from the Empire period. Late 19th-early 20th century. 55 x 46 cm. Inscription in pencil on the stretcher. B.E., restoration at bottom.
