Fouesnant, Pierre (Lorient 1943 - 2009). Mother and child. Sculpture in wood. (around 1990). Signed. 42 x 11 x 13 cm - Fouesnant founded his own workshop when he was just 21 years old. He created sculptures with soft, flowing forms in bronze, wood and polyester resin, which can range from a small 20 cm to a height of 7 meters.- Standing figure of a woman with a headscarf, embracing a child, who is facing her.- Vertical crack on the right side.- Included: postcard with image of another sculpture, inscribed by the artist 'Souvenir de Kiel', dated '92' and signed 'Pierre'.
