Caribbean - 23 original photographs and 13 photo postcards (4 in color; mostly inscribed, 2 used) with photographs from Haiti from the years 1927-1937, some dated, original photographs partly with explanations by old hand on verso. 7 x 11 cm to 9 x 14 cm - Street scenes and views from Gonaives and Saint Marc as well as Petit Goave and Kenscoff, also shots of the citadel La Ferrière and some shots of people - The postcards addressed to various members of a Jänisch family in Hamburg-Wohldorf, often signed Carl or Uncle Carl - Some with silvering.
