The jacket has a stand up collar, front zip closure , and a high waist line with long tails. It is lined in color shifting polyester (purple to blue). Laying flat it measures: shoulders 18'', chest 23'', waist 20'', sleeve 24'', length 42''. The jacket is believed to come from a New York opera company.
