Vintage c1960 Heavily Embellished Evening Gown Vintage c1960 Heavily Embellished Evening Gown features a long sleeve black velvet bodice with a scoop neckline, a pink velvet ribbon waistband with double looped bows accented with a large artificial pink rose. As well as a full length skirt in a glittering chocolate brown and metallic gold satin floral brocade heavily embellished in a mix of sequins (coral, red, green, and gold), glass beads (yellow seed beads, gold bugle beads), plastic beads(metallic gold faceted balls in a medium and large size), and prong set faceted glass rhinestones/gems ( red, green, and pale yellow). The inner hemline is reinforced with a wide stiff braid for support. Laying flat the dress measures: shoulders 19.5'', bust 18.5'', waist 14'', sleeves 24'', length 50''. The gown is in good/fair condition with the rose and bow waistband losing their shape, oxidation to the silver lined bugle beads, several areas of bead loss and loose threads, and random areas of fading to the brown satin brocade.
