Vintage c1929 Mens Double Breasted Jacket and Hat Vintage Mens Double Breasted Jacket and Hat. This vintage mens (possibly cavalry) uniform jacket by The Lilley Co. features a navy blue wool body, a stand up collar, grosgrain covered 9 button closure, shoulder rank patches (not original), and an attached metal hook at the back left waist. In the right side inner pocket there is a label from The Lilley Co. with the name John M. Skyes 4-15-29 and the initials JH cross stitched to the inner lining. The bottom 7'' of the jacket have been tacked up ( possibly for a costume). Laying flat the jacket measures: shoulders 17'', chest 19.5'', sleeves 23.5'', length (without the tacked up portion) 30.5''. The lot also includes 1 vintage c1980 sz medium cavalry hat reproduction with a flocked stiff body, bright yellow band, and a turned up brim on the left side. The hat has the name C.B. West on the inner band and an adjustable chin strap. The jacket is in fair condition with moth damage, broken stitches on the inner lining in the right side underarm and holes on in the wool on the outside underarm, and fraying to several grosgrain covered buttons.
