The Dark Crystal, 1982 tempera on thin cardboard 25 x 33.5 cm Preliminary artwork created by Napoli for the official poster of the film "Dark Crystal," directed by Frank Oz and Jim Henson in 1982. Entirely shot and filmed with animatronic puppets and marionettes, with no appearance or mention of human beings, over the years it has become a true cult of the fantasy genre. Attached is the title created by Napoli with airbrush on cardboard (39 x 25.5 cm) used in the final version of the poster.
