Long feared and coveted, they have been decimated by poaching and deforestation. Their sightings have become extremely rare, and it takes relentless effort to follow them deep into the forest. Immortalizing them by photographing them brings them out of their silence, and makes the world want to get to know them so as to better protect them. Convinced that art has the power to change people, I have chosen the jaguar as an ambassador for a wild yet fragile and threatened nature."
