Manuscripts. Important lot of over 200 old manuscripts and documents (17th to early 20th century), including a songbook belonging to Henri Frey; most probably Henri-Nicolas Frey, division general of the colonial troops in China. He contributed to the capture of the imperial city on August 15, 1900. The accompanying watercolor is from the same source.
