English workshop, traditionally known as the "Nottingham School", last quarter of the 15th century. Head of Saint John the Baptist and Christ as a "Man of Sorrows" surrounded by Saint Peter and a bishop. Alabaster panel carved in relief with minute traces of painted motifs. Minor old and recent accidents, missing parts (middle part of St. Peter's key, bishop's left fingers) and vertical break refixed. Dim. 24.5 x 15 x 3 cm.
