Motobécane's first production model, the MB1 is a lightweight 175cc motorcycle that came out of the Pantin factory in 1924, and was a great success until 1929, selling some 150,000 units. Economical and accessible to the greatest number, a whole generation of motorcyclists discovered motorcycling behind the handlebars of this emblematic model of French production. Old restoration, engine not blocked, to be restarted, stand broken. No registration certificate. The bikes, mopeds, scooters and motorcycles in this collection need to be restored or put back into service before use, and are sold without a technical inspection. Recognizable by its handsome tank lettering, this is the evolution of the Motobécane MB1, to which the Pantin firm added a right-hand lever gearbox. Magneto Novi, electric lighting. This model, formerly sold by Cycles Bordier in Troyes, retains a beautiful original patina, engine not blocked, in need of restoration. No registration certificate. An evolution of the MB1, this lightweight machine, which appeared in the 1926 catalog, features a Druid-type fork with side springs and a 240 cc engine. Example in need of restoration, engine not blocked, perforating rust on fuel tank, handlebars cut off. No registration certificate.
