Double flintlock shotgun converted to percussion Table-top barrels decorated with gold, filleted muzzles. Hallmarks of Leclerc, Saint Etienne and the Imperial Eagle on the thunderbolts. Marked in gold on the band "Leclerc Canonnier de S.M. L'Empereur". Silver sights. Flat-bodied locks and hammers marked in gold "PIRMET A PARIS". Iron trigger guard chased with a shell, front engraved with a flowering urn. Stock with cheekpiece carved with a boar's head and partly squared. Brass-tipped brass ramrod. First Empire period, made circa 1830. Length 124 cm. A.B.E. (small puncture to butt plate). PIRMET, harquebusier in Paris during the Empire and Restoration. Harquebusier to the King of Westphalia and the Duke of Angouleme.
